Active Ingredients:

Polyvinylpyrrolidone-iodine complex (1.0% titratable iodine) 10%

Indications:

A topical antiseptic cream for use on horses, cattle, swine, and sheep to aid in the treatment of foot rot, sores, minor cut, bruises, abrasions, and burns. The cream base contains emollients and moisturizers which aid in the restoration of the skin’s natural moisture balance.

Dosage and Administration:

Cleanse the wound or area to be treated and apply PVP IODINE OINTMENT at full strength, repeating as necessary to maintain the characteristic iodine color on the skin. The PVP IODINE OINTMENT color indicates its germ-killing activity is still present. Note: When used on or near the teats or udders of dairy animals, the teats and udders should be thoroughly washed before the next milking to prevent contamination of milk.

Store in a cool place.

Cautions:

Keep out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. For external veterinary use only. Not for use on serious burns, in body cavities, or in deep or puncture wounds. If redness, irritation, swelling, or an infection occurs, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. Do not apply to the eyes, mucous membranes, or large areas of abraded skin.
